Also Ms. Sironen will come find you in class that week and ask you where you were and give you a detention. Detentions are bad but it's probably a good idea to just go to class.

You won't get suspended or anything but I don't recommend it. If the teacher finds out that you skipped they'll most likely not let you make up any of the work , so you'll get a zero on the assignment, and if it's a test of quiz day most teachers will make you take a zero on that too.

Detentions are perfectly fine. Through experience I can assure you it's really just a matter of sitting there for a couple minutes. Not a big deal at all.
ReplyDeleteSome attendee's also allow you to sleep and listen to music, as well. If you have friends staying after school that day to hang out with after, it gives you a good reason to get a ride later from your parents.
Not to contradict anything you're saying, of course.
